STRATEGY CALL · CAREER MILITARY LEADERS

Your Retirement Doesn’t Look Like Most People’s. Your Strategy Shouldn’t Either.

A direct conversation with someone who works only with military retirees — about how your pension, SBP, VGLI, and TSP actually fit together, what your post-military plans look like, and whether what you’ve got in place is doing what you need it to do.

Who You’re Talking To

I’m Scott Tucker. I founded US VetWealth to work directly with career military officers and senior NCOs on the retirement decisions that don’t follow the civilian playbook.

You’ll talk with me on this call — not a screener, not an associate. We’ll spend the first part on your situation: what you’ve got, what’s coming, what you’re trying to avoid. Then I’ll give you a direct answer on whether and how we can help.

On This Call

What It Is, and What It Isn’t

What This Call Is

  • A focused look at the decisions in front of you — and the ones you’ve already made.
  • A chance to ask whatever questions you’ve been carrying and get direct answers.
  • An honest read on whether what you’ve got is set up to do what you think it’s doing.
  • A conversation we’ll happily have with both spouses — the decision matters to both of you.
  • Thirty minutes, your pace, no obligation to move forward.

What This Call Isn’t

  • A product presentation or sales pitch.
  • A commitment to anything — financially or otherwise.
  • A one-size-fits-all script — your situation is yours.
  • The end of the conversation if there’s more to talk about.

Common Questions

Before You Book

What does this cost?

Nothing. The strategy call is complimentary. There’s no fee for the call and no obligation after it.

Will you try to sell me a product on this call?

No. The first call is a conversation, not a pitch. If we identify something specific that might fit your situation, we’d cover it on a follow-up — and only if you want to keep talking.

Do I need to bring anything or prepare?

No prep required. If you happen to know your current SBP election, VGLI status, and TSP allocation off the top of your head, that helps — but it’s not necessary.

I’m already working with a financial advisor. Is this still useful?

Yes. A lot of our clients already work with a financial professional of some capacity. We act as specific consultants in the world of military retirees and veteran business owners, implementing insurance strategies to complement your existing plan — whether you have an advisor or you manage things yourself. Not trying to replace what’s already working for you.

I’m not retiring for several years — is it too early?

It’s not. The earlier you understand your options, the more leverage you have. SBP, VGLI, and TSP decisions all have windows that close — getting ahead of them is the whole point.

What if I’ve already retired from the military? Can I still get something out of this call?

Yes. The conversation just looks different depending on where you are. If you’re already out with multiple income sources, there’s likely a tax bracket conversation, a life insurance review, or an estate and legacy planning angle worth a look. If you’ve started a business since you took off the uniform, that opens up a different set of opportunities most advisors don’t see. Whether you retired six months ago or fifteen years ago, the conversation still has value.

Are you affiliated with the military, the VA, or any government agency?

No. US VetWealth is a private brokerage. Scott is a USMA graduate and former officer, but the firm has no government affiliation or endorsement.

What happens if I decide not to move forward after this call?

Nothing. You leave with a clearer picture of your options and we wish you well. There’s no follow-up pressure and no list you get added to without asking.

How do you get paid?

We’re paid by the insurance and annuity companies when a client chooses to implement a strategy we recommend — there’s no fee from us to you for the call, the planning conversations, or anything in between. If you don’t move forward, you don’t owe anything. If you do, the carrier compensates us, not you.
